FOXXY goes DockDiving at Lilypons

Foxxy resumed her dockdiving adventures today, participating in two waves of the Big Air competition at Lilypons in Adamstown, MD.  She did well on her first series of jumps, and a jump of 14'2" got her a second place.  By the afternoon, the temperature was over 95 degrees, so dogs weren't doing as well.  She had a jump of 13'10", but we wanted to get her out of the heat, so we did not wait to hear where that positioned her.  Regardless, she had a great time.  She absolutely loves dockdiving.  Sunday is a day of rest, then on Monday, she'll be in Fredericksburg for agility.

Foxxy Earns A New Agility Title

At the Sunday July 29th Pembroke Welsh Corgi trial in Frederick, MD, Foxxy earned her Master Jumpers With Weaves Preferred title with a First Place finish.  Congratulations, Foxxy!

Update on Dock Diving

7/14/12 - Foxxy competed in Dock Diving for the first time this year, at the Chesapeake DockDogs event.  She got her first-ever Senior leg on the first event with a jump of 15'-10", but then the heat kind of got to her.  So in the remaining two events she jumped in the Junior range.  No problem - those two events should have been enough to qualify her for her Junior title.

And, as a result of celebrating her TENTH birthday on Thursday, she has now moved into the Legend category of DockDogs.  Happy Birthday, Foxxy!

Dixie Adds Two More Titles, and Foxxy adds one more, too!

7/1/12 - With the addition of the new AKC Lifetime Agility Achievement titles, Dixie now has two more titles behind her name!  She has a Master Silver Agility Preferred and a Master Bronze Jumpers With Weaves Preferred Title!  Way to go, Dixie!

Foxxy has also qualified for a Lifetime Achievement title, and now holds the Master Bronze Agility title  Way to go, Foxxy!
